The installation White Horizon - Hollow Wasteland deals with the urban periphery of many western cities, showing a deserted landscape in a thick mist, on the verge of the artificial. As far as the heavy fog allows us to see, the surface of the landscape is paved with bricks. At a certain point, there's the vague appearance of a person. A little later, office buildings emerge. But all this soon disappears again, leaving the audience with no other reference than the few meters of brick paving in front of them.
The image is projected directly onto the wall from the floor up, neatly fitting the width of the space. Two sound sources are placed opposite of the wall projection, behind the viewer.
