The video installation Vivarium is the result of a three-month artist in residence at Artspace Visual Arts Centre in Sydney Australia. Inspired by the expanding city within the vast landscape that surrounds it, the work addresses the ambivalent relationship between the two by depicting a day in the life of a young female botanist.
