Stairway & Model (2007)
C-print on Dibond (aluminium) and a scale model
85 x 129 cm, model 21 x 10 x 8 cm

Both Stairway and Model show a corridor. The photo shows the corridor with a stairway in the middle, leading to a darkened attic. The scale model is a small black box carrying an exact copy of the corridor only without the stairs. One can look inside the black box by lifting it up and moving it to the eye in a horizontal position. The light inside turns on and off automatically when moving it horizontally.
